Empowering Students to Unlock Their  Potential

My name is Dustin Bayer, and I founded Achievement UnlockED Academic Coaching to help students develop the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to achieve their academic and postsecondary goals. Over the past 16 years, I have served as a middle school principal, high school principal, director of school counseling, and school counselor. Throughout those experiences, I have worked closely with students and families navigating academic challenges, college planning, and important educational transitions. While my roles have changed over the years, one observation has remained constant: most students are capable of achieving far more than they realize. Often, the barrier to success is not intelligence or motivation, but a lack of executive functioning skills. These skills include the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, manage time, and follow through on goals. When students develop these skills, their confidence grows, stress decreases, and their academic performance often improves significantly. My experience as an educator, counselor, and school leader has taught me that no two students are alike. Every student brings a unique combination of strengths, challenges, interests, and goals. I take a highly individualized, student-centered approach, partnering with each student and family to create personalized strategies that support academic success, strengthen executive functioning skills, and build the confidence needed to reach their full potential. Through Achievement UnlockED Academic Coaching, I provide personalized academic coaching, executive functioning support, and college admissions counseling to help students unlock their potential and move forward with confidence.
